Clarksville Repeater Update (3/28/08) - We no longer have a repeater on 145.41. This repeater has QSY'd to 147.15. Same location west of Clarksville, same coverage, and and open to all to use. I'm going to make another small change to see how it works. I'm not going to have it linked to Nashville all of the time. We originally put the repeater in the Clarksville area to enhance communications in that area and with it linked to Nashville all of the time, it stays so busy that the local hams in the Clarksville area are not getting the benefit of a local repeater. The link can still be activated to connect it to Nashville, but it will automatically disconnect after a period of inactivity. There apprears to be an antenna problem on the tower and due to some other projects, this problem's going to have to wait. The problem causes stations to have some popping on their signals at times. Below are updated temporary codes to link Clarkville to Nashville:
From the Clarksville Repeater ---
71 - Connects the 67 repeater to the 147.15 repeater
70 - Disconnects the 67 repeater from the 147.15 repeater
Thanks to everybody for your support during this transition.
